The Picnic Among the Vineyards takes place at Le Muraglie Winery, nestled in the beautiful morainic hills of Lake Garda, just a few minutes from Verona. It is an experience designed for those who want to spend a day outdoors, surrounded by nature, wine and the authentic flavours of the local area.
The experience begins with a guided walk through the vineyards, led by a member of the family who runs this family-owned winery. During the walk, you will discover the history of the winery, learn about the local area and explore the techniques used to cultivate the vines. The visit then continues inside the winery, where you will learn about the main stages of winemaking and the ageing of our wines.
At the end of the tour, you can relax among the vines with a picnic set up in the vineyard, enjoying a simple and authentic atmosphere surrounded by the peaceful countryside. The picnic includes a basket of typical local products, including cured meats, cheeses and freshly baked goods, as well as water and biodegradable cutlery. The experience also includes one bottle of Le Muraglie wine for every two people, to be chosen from a selection of still and sparkling wines produced by the winery. To make the experience even more enjoyable, please bring a blanket so you can spend a few relaxing hours immersed in nature, enjoying beautiful views of the vineyards and the hills surrounding Lake Garda.
