Barchessa Ottolini - Piazza Poggi

Located in the main square of Arcole, the Ottolini barn is a symmetrical construction consisting of a long portico that connects two identical residential buildings at each end. It was not designed as a traditional villa but was built to provide the court with a new rural building for the processing, transformation, and preservation of agricultural products. The portico extends over fifteen arches with masks that represent grotesque figures of human or animal faces.
