The spacious rooms have been conceived and designed to give guests the most authentic experience possible, without neglecting any comforts. Everything has been created with respect for our beloved mountains; the furnishings, all made to measure, have been recovered from the beams and planking of the original building.
The rooms have been characterised by furnishing elements from the old post office, the floors, rigorously in wooden parquet (with underfloor heating), recall the original warping with a perimeter frame in larch wood and a central carpet in fir wood, original objects from the "house" wisely restored such as: trunks, wardrobes, chests of drawers and old majolica stube, make guests experience emotions of that romantic past and of the famous guests that the Locanda hosted in its glorious past.
There are some services that have an agreement with the Locanda, such as Corte Spa in Borca di Cadore. Other services available for a fee are: cycling and walking excursions, theme dinner evenings, happy hours, and much more.
For children there is a nice outdoor playground and board games available. Ski storage, sun terrace and garden, sun loungers and sun beds are available.

The locanda al capriolo is located on State Road No. 51 d'Alemagna, accessible from the south from the A27 (Venice - Belluno) motorway and from the north via State Road No. 49 della Val Pusteria from the Bressanone exit of the A22 motorway
(Modena-Brenner).
For those who prefer the train, the stations of "Calalzo - Pieve di Cadore - Cortina d'Ampezzo" and "Dobbiaco" can be reached by bus services of the "Dolomitibus" and "SAD".
The airports of Venice and Treviso are 136 and 125 km away from San Vito di Cadore respectively.
