Starting from the Falzarego Pass, it is one of the most spectacular walks in the Dolomites. The hike passes Averau and Nuvolau, which open up a 360° view of the surrounding Dolomites.
The hike starts at 8:30 a.m. from the Col Gallina car park, just below the Falzarego Pass, and continues towards the first destination, which is Mount Averau.
Along the route, you can see many remains from the First World War, in fact the clash of armies took place in these very areas, so the trenches and some military camps are visible.
