Let yourself be guided by the players of the Associazione Giochi Antichi (AGA) community, as you listen to the story of the revival of a traditional game, S-ciànco, that sparked a great movement, both local and global.
From the heart of the historic centre to the city's hills, you will come into contact with a world that speaks of community, challenge, conviviality and belonging.
Discover the taverns of the Carega neighbourhood where AGA was born 25 years ago, the Cortile Mercato Vecchio where the first S-ciànco Tournament was held, and Ponte Pietra, the backdrop of the earliest Tocatì Festivals. Enjoy a scenic funicular ride up to Castel San Pietro — home for many years to the finals of the Veronese S-ciànco Championship — and take in its breathtaking view over the city.
Then make your way down to the Parco delle Colombare on the Torricelle hill, where Casa Tocatì — a park dedicated to traditional games and sports — was born, and where it will be time to play s-ciànco!
Round off your walk with an aperitivo in the Parco delle Colombare, as your gaze drifts over Verona in the golden light of sunset.
