Panoramic Tour of the Verona Hills aboard the Historic Lupetto Bus (1969)
Step aboard a true piece of history and enjoy a journey back in time through the hills of Verona.
The star of this experience is the Lupetto A15, a historic Dalla Via OM 30 256 2 bus, first registered in 1969. This charming vehicle began its life in the provincial public transport service operated by APT Verona, becoming a familiar sight on local roads for many years.
In the 1990s, the bus was repurchased by its original manufacturer, Dalla Via, which carried out a significant restoration, bringing back its original charm. In 1995, the Lupetto was acquired by Giulio Brenzan, the historic owner of Autoservizi Brenzan in Castelmassa (RO), who carefully preserved it with great passion and dedication.
Following Giulio’s passing in 2019, his daughters chose to support a project dedicated to the preservation and enhancement of historic vehicles, allowing the bus to join our Foundation in 2021, also as a tribute to their father’s lifelong passion.
The Experience
The tour lasts approximately 30 minutes and follows a scenic route through the Verona hills, offering beautiful views of the city and the surrounding landscape. It is a unique opportunity to discover Verona from a different perspective, aboard a vintage vehicle that tells over fifty years of history.
