Rifugio Faloria is located at 2.120 mt a.s.l., on Mount Faloria, on the easter side of the town. From its terracce you can take a clear and wide look on Cortina d' Ampezzo's pretty little town and on all the picks that surround it. The rifugio is on the ski slopes of Faloria-Cristallo ski area. It is typical and cosy mountain hut with a bar area, a small restaurant, a larger self-service are for lunch; there are also 23 beds divided in different types of rooms; there is a small wellness area with a relaxing zone.
During winter season, the rifugio is reachable only by cable-car from Cortina's town centre; or also from the lifts that are located in the northern zone called Rio Gere (about 8 km) from town centre.
During summer season, the rifugio is reachable by cable-car from Cortina's town centre; for the mountain lovers there are several trails with various difficulty and lenth to hike.

CABLE-CAR STATION:
Entering Cortina's from south, drive along the "circonvallazione" (one-way road around the town centre". Arriving at the central Bus station, you'll find a car paking on the right side of the road. Enter this car parking and drive backward the way of the road, all the way to the end of it. You'll find the cable-car station in front of you.
RIO GERE CHAIR LIFTS (winter only and hiking route in summer)
About8 km northern Cortina's town centre, follow signs for Passo Tre Croci (Misurina), you'll find the area called Rio Gere. Right side of the road, enter the big gravel parking and find the chair-lifts station in front of you.
