The Serego Alighieri Possessions are located in the heart of the Valpolicella Classica, surrounded by green hills and a few kilometers from the historic center of Verona and the beauty of Lake Garda.
The enchanting estate, which already had a reputation for the excellence of its vineyards, was purchased in 1353 by Pietro Alighieri, son of the poet Dante, who had followed his father during his exile in Verona.
For twenty-one generations the descent of the Supreme Poet has lived in the Possessions, symbol of the winemaking history of Valpolicella. Masi shares with the Counts Serego Alighieri the great love for this land, supporting them in the production of prestigious wines, heirs of an ancient, noble and expert winemaking tradition.
