Villa Mocenigo "Belvedere"

Palace belonging to Antonio Altan in the Sixteenth Century, Villa Mocenigo known as "Belvedere" is now displayed in its Seventeenth-century lines, the result of an expansion desired by Leonardo Mocenigo, then bishop of Ceneda. The height of splendor was reached in the following century, when Doge Alvise IV Mocenigo resided there, accompanied by Carlo Goldoni, who worked in the theater within the villa.
