The public restrooms in Feltre are located inside the Fratelli Angelini gallery (formerly Romita).
A tunnel of history and culture:
The Romita gallery, a tunnel that runs beneath the fortified citadel of Feltre, is open year-round and is, despite appearances, quite an interesting place to visit. Along the walls of the gallery are explanatory panels that tell the history of the city of Feltre, its characters, and its most interesting monuments. One access point is from the new city area towards the main road, and the other is from beneath the Drio le rive woods.
The gallery is linked to the history of World War II; it was built in 1943 by the Germans to shelter the products of the former metallurgy that were used for warplanes, and later used as an air raid shelter.
