Le Leggende del Lago di Alleghe

The Lake of Alleghe, an emerald set between the rocks, owes its formation to a tragic event: a landslide from Mount Piz on a night in 1771 overwhelmed some villages and blocked the bed of the underlying stream, thus giving rise to the creation of the lake.
