For those who love to discover unusual aspects of the landscape, it is worth visiting the River Wave of Monte Biron, not far from Cattignano, a pleasant location on the western side of the valley.
This phenomenon originated in the Oligocene, about 40 million years ago, and is the result of the erosion of limestone rocks under the relentless action of marine currents. The result is a rock wall shaped in a distinctive wave-like form, under which the path passes. For this reason, during subsequent prehistoric periods, the first inhabitants of the valley settled here, as evidenced by the discovery of numerous fragments of flint, chipped and pointed for household use.
