Oratorio Madonna delle Ave in Monte Buso

The Sanctuary of Madonetta della Ave is also called Madonna dei Miracoli, sometimes referred to as "Madonna della Torre" due to the old tower dating back to the 1300s within which the church was built.
We find the sanctuary on the slopes of a hill, Monte Buso, which rises above a flat area connecting the towns of Monselice and Este.
The small temple is located right in the area where the Virgin asked to erect a chapel dedicated to her. The legend tells of the Virgin appearing to two shepherds from Este.  Mary convinced the two to build a little chapel in that place dedicated to her. Construction began shortly after the miraculous apparition in 1526 and was very quick as the work simply involved modifying the existing tower.
The building appears to be of modest size, characterized by a striking bell tower. Following the apparition, the church was visited by many pilgrims who came here due to reports of various miracles in the area.
