Church of Santa Maria Maggiore

Parish church in the centre of Bussolengo, dating back to around 1199. In the 18th century, the church building was extensively renovated and the choir and sacristy were built from scratch so that the complex acquired its current form in 1717. In 1769, the new Baroque high altar was built and a few years later, on 27 September 1774, the bishop of Verona, Giovanni Morosini, consecrated the church.
