The Church of Saints Pietro and Biagio was built in 1573 on an existing chapel dedicated only to Saint Peter by the Venetian Monsignor Taddeo Contarini, nephew of the renowned Cardinal Gaspare Contarini. However, the discovery of the inventory of goods held by the "chapel of Saint Peter" shows that the building was already documented in 1439.
On the façade, adorned with four Doric columns, two inscriptions are visible, indicating that the builder of the current structure was a certain Johanne Tessari between 1826 and 1830.
Internally, it presents a square plan with a single altar surmounted by a painting depicting Saint Biagio, Saint Peter with the keys to paradise, Saint Francis of Assisi, and the Madonna in glory. The scholar Giuseppe Salvaro reports that in the background of the painting a landscape with a tower was visible, which could be the settlement of Castello. The same researcher also claims that at the feet of Saint Biagio, the coat of arms of the Cristoforo Francanzani Family was represented, which donated the important work of art in the early 1700s.
Furthermore, Don Benedetto Francanzani, a member of that family, was for a long time the rector of the small church.
On the bellows, a painting depicting the apostles Peter and Paul was visible, although heavily deteriorated.
