The current parish church of Rugolo is dedicated to St. George and was likely the first place of worship, built in the 6th-7th century. It took on its present appearance between the 16th and 17th centuries. The façade, facing west, has a gabled design adorned with a beautiful rose window, and on the right side stands the bell tower with a Romanesque structure. The interior, with a single nave, preserves interesting 15th-century frescoes attributed to Andrea di Treviso in the presbytery and on the walls. Also noteworthy is a painting from 1756 by Egidio Dall’Oglio, dedicated to St. George.
