Rocca Pietore e la sua magnifica comunità

Rocca Pietore is the main village of the municipality where it is possible to find the administrative centre with some useful facilities. Its symbol is the monumental church of Saint Mary, built in gothic style. The Rocca Pietore community has an original history, in the past it was indipendent both from Venice and Austria in a sort of autogovernance. During the Langobard period, in fact, this area was independent both in the administration and in the judgement and had a strong power to self-governance.
