The museum is situated in the primary school “Monte Ortigara” in Viale della Vittoria. It has two exposition rooms, five pre-alpine environments, eight thematic exhibitions and a didactic room for classes in environmental education.
The museum has 5,000 visitors and 150 schoolchildren per year. The following environments are presented: the mixed wood, the beech wood, the red-pine wood, the alpine pasture, the alpine wetland and the mountain landscape.
The museum is a Didactic and Naturalistic Centre, which aims to support interest of the population in nature and to attract more attention for the territory of the Asiago Plateau. There are a lot of activities for everybody not only in the Museum but also in the beautiful landscapes of the Plateau.
