The route takes its name from the old track that used to be the rack train, which until 1958 connected the Plain to the Plain. (from Piovene Rocchette to Asiago).
The route starts in Asiago behind the former station near the ice stadium and continues to Canove, where you can find a locomotive, which has been reconstructed to commemorate the "Vaca Mora", the ancient train, located near the Municipal Swimming Pool and the War Museum.
There is an asphalted stretch that leads to "Via Ortigara", in the centre of the village, then to the Boscon area and then to Cesuna near the former cross-country ski centre.
It continues with an asphalted piece to the centre of Cesuna where there is a tunnel about 600 m long, then with the dirt road for a short stretch and then takes up an asphalted part, up to the nearby house former railway exit, which shows a beautiful fresco on a wall, depicting the puffy rack train uphill along the slopes of the "Costo".
It continues a little further on with a second tunnel about 200 m long. just before Treschè Conca.
Following the path you come across another former station that today houses the Pro loco of Treschè Conca and then taking an internal road you reach a fuel dispenser, then you get to a pedestrian crossing, cross taking you to via Zaitapech and following the signposts you arrive at the end in a grove until the former station of Campiello.
