THE CHESTNUT FOREST
A beautiful forest that offers shade, coolness, fresh air, and many encounters with biodiversity and traces of wildlife. It is also a place of living memory of the Resistance, a place where today you can breathe peace immersed in the quiet comfort of nature.
Meeting at 9:00 AM in the station square in Belluno
Activity conclusion at 1:00 PM - Elevation gain: 100m - Difficulty: easy
All participants in the excursions have RCT Mazarol coverage
Clothing and equipment: boots with treaded soles; comfortable, sporty, and layered clothing; cap or bandana for the sun; a small backpack with snacks and a full water bottle; a bag for any waste to dispose of later at home. A camera and binoculars are optional. The proposed routes have variable slopes and surfaces and cannot be undertaken by families with children in strollers. Dogs are welcome on the walks; the owner must keep them on a leash at all times (flexi leashes are not permitted), and have a muzzle, bowl, and bottle of water for the dog in their backpack.
