This guided walk takes you through the upper part of the picturesque Valdonega, a valley once shaped by a flowing stream that gave it its name. As we follow quiet trails and green paths, we’ll reach the enchanting Sommavalle spring, nestled in a peaceful woodland of hornbeams, hackberries, and flowering ash trees.
From there, the route climbs gently—first along a natural path, then up a narrow road leading to the historic Villa Fraccaroli, located between the first and second Torricella towers, in a spot rich with charm and panoramic views.
The return begins along an old trail that once connected the Avesa neighborhood to the hill ridge. We then follow a quiet paved road back to the parking area, bringing this immersive journey through landscape, history, and natural beauty to a close.
