Located in Pieve di Cadore in a panoramic area, the Hotel al Pelmo is in the centre of the Cortina, Misurina, Sappada, Belluno area, destinations that can be visited in half a day. Only 300 metres of flat land separate us from the historic centre, where you will find internationally renowned museums such as the house where the painter Tiziano Vecellio was born, the museum of eyewear and the Paleovenetian and Risorgimento museum located in the 16th century palace of the Magnifica Comunità di Cadore. We are well connected with the Veneto plain by direct coaches to and from the airports and the high-speed railway in Mestre. Bus stops are adjacent to the hotel.
The hotel has been owned for 3 generations, has 42 comfortable rooms with private bathrooms and is barrier-free. It is located not far from the ski resorts.
Hotel Al Pelmo is open all year round and offers guests all the comforts they need to spend a relaxing holiday, such as a lift to the floors, an in-house restaurant also suitable for special diets (on request), a wellness centre reserved for hotel guests only, a solarium terrace, free Wi-Fi, and free private parking for cars, motorbikes and coaches. Animals are also accepted.
Some services, on the other hand, are chargeable, such as the ironing and laundry service and the shuttle service also available to/from airports. As for the wellness area, massages are available for a fee. The Hotel Al Pelmo also provides a small meeting room for a fee.
By car, take the A27 motorway from Venice to Pian di Vedoia (Belluno) and continue for 30 km in the direction of Cortina. At the Tai di Cadore crossroads, turn right towards Pieve di Cadore. The hotel is on the left after about 1 km from the crossroads.
By train travelling by high-speed train to Mestre or by train to the Calalzo - Pieve di Cadore - Cortina railway station, changing for regional trains from Mestre.
By bus Flixbus, Cortina Express or ATVO with a stop in Tai di Cadore.
By plane, to the Veneto airports of Venice or Treviso or Verona and then continuing by bus to Tai di Cadore or by train to Calalzo railway station.
For guests arriving at the Hotel without a car, a free shuttle service is available on request from the Calalzo train station or from the square in Tai di Cadore where buses from Venice/Mestre run (2 min to reach the Hotel).
