With this excursion, you will have the opportunity to discover one of the lesser-known areas of Verona: the hills. Elisa, a certified environmental hiking guide, will lead you at a slow pace through ancient vineyards and charming villages on the outskirts of the city. In the morning, you will hike together up Monte Cavro in Quinzano and visit the hermitage of San Rocchetto, a peaceful retreat.
You can choose to have lunch in one of the city's historic taverns to taste typical Veronese dishes, and in the afternoon, hike up Monte Ongarine in Avesa, where you can enjoy a stunning view of the surrounding plains and mountains!
Program:
A 5 km loop with a stop to visit the hermitage, lunch break, a 7 km loop on Monte Ongarine (Avesa) with several stops, a final aperitif, and return to the starting point.
