Bus&Bici Rovigo is the new reservation service by Busitalia Veneto for traveling in the Po Delta area with your bicycle, on intercity buses equipped with special trailers for bicycle transport (the transport of the bicycle is possible up to the maximum allowed capacity of the bike trailer, which is 6 bicycles). To reserve a bike spot, download the QUIBUS VENETO app.
The service is active during the summer period on the routes:
- E601-E680 ROVIGO - ADRIA - ROSOLINA MARE: Rosolina Mare is a seaside resort a few kilometers from the mouth of the Adige River, in the Po Delta Park. Its coastline is covered by a dense pine forest, which offers an excellent spot for picnics with friends, resting in the shade, or bike rides immersed in nature.
- E601 ROVIGO - ADRIA - PORTO TOLLE - BARRICATA: Barricata is the ideal starting point for cycling enthusiasts: from here, it is possible to travel along the banks of the Po, discovering the intricate lands, canals, and lagoons typical of the Delta. During excursions, it is not uncommon to admire numerous species of birds, both resident and migratory, including herons, avocets, and pink flamingos.
The bike supplement is a ticket for a ride at a fixed price of € 3.00, available for purchase via the QUIBUS VENETO app and on board from the driver. If purchased through the app, you must bring along the device (smartphone, tablet) with which the reservation was made for the entire duration of the journey.
NOTE:
- The loading and unloading operations must be carried out independently, only at the stops indicated in the timetables, and the maximum allowed weight for each bicycle is 15 kg.
- Bicycle transport is possible on certain trips of the E601-680 and E601 lines until the maximum allowed capacity for bicycle transport is reached: simply purchasing the supplement does not guarantee the transport of the bicycle if the maximum capacity has been exceeded or if a reservation has not been made.
