In the small municipality of Fonzaso, in the Feltrino area, we find the "Rock Gym," or the Fonzaso crag. It is an integral part of climbing history in Italy. For many long winters, this historic crag, located next to the Eremo di San Micel, has been the favorite spot for climbers from Feltre and Primiero. The "rock gym" offers about 40 technical routes on holds and pockets.
Access:
from Feltre (BL) go to Fonzaso and park. Following the signs for the Eremo di San Micèl, ascend the slope and eventually head left under the wall (20 minutes). First, you will encounter the "slabs" sector, with easy and medium routes but with some cases of very long bolting, and then the main sector, which has more modern bolting.
