Malga Gran Pian

Gran Pian mountain farm is reachable with an easy stroll from Malga Ciapela. The starting point is a large parking lot before Malga Ciapela campsite. In wintertime, Gran Pian is reachable by feet, with snowshoes or with cross country ski, thanks to the slope close to. This mountain farm is open to the public for tasting and cheese shopping all summer season long and in winter only in the weekend. From Gran Pian it is possible to go on with an excursion in two directions: Ombretta Valley or Franzedaz Valley, crossed by the well-known AV2.
