Palazzo Ferrante Deganello (formerly named after the Michiel, Suman, Moschini and Buniolo families) was built for the aristocratic Venetian family of the Michiel in the late sixteenth/early seventeenth century. The external facade, giving onto the road, was modified in the eighteenth century, whilst the internal garden facade dates from the sixteenth century. Beyond the back of the building there is a vegetable garden and farming estate; the complex of buildings once also included stables, barns, wine cellars and a private oratory.
Giuseppe Garibaldi and his son Menotti are known to have stayed in this villa in 1869.
