The monumental south façade, in Neoclassical style, is adorned by four half-columns resting on pillars with stone bases and Ionic capitals. Pilasters and bands divide the space into large rectangular panels. Above the entrance door (with stone surrounds and tympanum) is the inscription: D.O.M. IN HONOREM SAN JOANNIS BAPITSTÆ framed in two pilasters with an arch, bearing a stone capital with acanthus leaves in the key. Above the entablature is a large clock, set between stone slabs, crowned by a tympanum holding a cross and decorated with four white stone vases.
