Rifugio Baita dei Cacciatori is located in the beautiful Unesco Dolomites, at the foot of Cime d'Auta, at 1751 m asl, immersed in the wood.
A one-hour walk from the little hamlet of Colmean, the rifugio was built by Mr Rino and now is ruled by his grandchildren. A family run rifugio with a simple and traditional cuisine. It's open from the middle of May till the end of September. This is the ideal destination for a easy and short escursion.
The rifugio can not be reached by car, only by bike or e-bike. It offers an e-bike recharging point
The restaurant has 25 seats inside and a terrace which hosts 65 people for a lunch with a view on the amazing Pale di San Martino and the near ski slopes of the San Pellegrino Ski area, one of the 12 ski areas of the Dolomiti SuperSki, the largest ski carousel of the world.
Starting point from Colmean at 1280 m asl. Here there is a little free parking place.

The escursion takes 1,5 hour the way up and 1 hour ca the way back.
