Malga Franzedaz

The Franzedaz Valley is a parallel valley to the Ombretta one, between Mount Fop and the Auta Mountain Group. It is an amazing valley in all seasons, but most of all it is surronded by pristine nature and the signs of the uman presence are only a few. At the centre of the valley it is possible to see the some haylofts and the closed mountain farm. This place is easy to reach from Malga Ciapela in summer by feet, or in winter by snowshoes or ski mountaineering. On the other side of the valley it is possible to admire some wild animals such as ibex before reaching the Forca Rossa Pass. The view from this point is amazing, there is the chance to see also Fuciade and San Pellegrino valleys. This valley is also crossed by the famous route Alta Via Nr. 2, one of the most famous and frequented route in the summer season.
