The Virgin Mary Chapel at Punta Rocca is completely built inside a cave, similar to the ones built by the soldiers during the World War I. This chapel was constructed in order to became a place to celebrate peace between umans. Inside the cave is preserved a statue of the Madonna delle Nevi, which was blessed by Pope John Paul II in 1979.
This cave is comfortably reachable thanks to the Marmolada - move to the top lifts and is open every day in winter and summer season.
