Combai

At the foot of the Belluno Prealps, along the Strada de Prosecco, lies the village of Combai. This location is famous for the production of Marroni di Combai. The woods in the area are indeed predominantly chestnut trees, whose cultivation, introduced in the Middle Ages, was crucial for the local population's diet. Between October and November, the Festa dei Marroni is held, featuring specialties and traditional dishes made with chestnuts.
