Among streets and squares: religion and power

Starting with the history of the clock tower, the Loggia del Consiglio and the Piazza del Duomo, we will begin a real walk through the Middle Ages. Recounting the quarrels between bishop and canons, no less than those between artists, we will reconstruct the ancient facies of this part of the city divided between the administration of power and the amusements of the aristocracy. The tour will end with an evocative immersion in the Jewish ghetto, recounted in its everyday life thanks to ancient sources and analyzed in the historical-artistic emergencies that still exist today.
