Called "Tribuna", this capital is located in the centre of Piazza Erbe, not far from the Madonna Verona Fountain.
In the past its function was twofold: on the one hand as a place used for the election of the Lords and Podestas of the city, who had to swear allegiance to the municipal statutes, and on the other as a meter, to tune the merchants, as can still be seen in the intact parts of the capital.
