The Church of Formegan, originally dedicated to Santa Maria Nascente and now to San Rocco. There are few documents about this Church, one of which is a letter from Pope Lucius III that indicates the Church was already present in 1184.
It was then rebuilt between 1200 and 1300 and continued to undergo modifications over time, including some very important changes between 1400 and 1500. Once, around the church, there was a cemetery bordered by walnut trees, and later by mulberry trees. In 1780, the bell tower was also restored.
The last work before the most recent restoration took place a few years ago and involved the rehabilitation of the internal structure, revealing precious medieval frescoes including a beautiful Last Supper.
