The Casa del Zanzotto is the place where art flourished: not only was Andrea Zanzotto an all-round artist, writer and poet, but the reference is also to his father Giovanni Zanzotto, a painter and decorator. The essence of the house lies in the history of those who lived there: it contains childhood and family memories, affectionate bonds and memories of the formation of little Andrea, his youth and part of his adult life.
An example of Venetian architecture from the mid-nineteenth century, the property is accessed through an underportico embellished with frescoes by Giovanni Zanzotto, which opens onto a small garden. The house is set in a hamlet of other houses and subports. The house, which can be accessed today, is smaller than the original and is spread over three levels: on the ground floor there is a small entrance with stairs, living room decorated by Giovanni himself with attached study belonging to his son and kitchen; on the first floor there are two bedrooms, a bedroom and a bathroom; on the second and last floor the barn.
