In front of the Duomo, Corte Morona complex stands. It is part of the villa erected in the 17th century at the behest of the family of the same name. Recently restored and home to houses and shops, the courtyard is still characterised by an ancient well and valuable architectural elements such as arches and stairways. Under the arch that marks the entrance there is now a plaque bearing some verses that the poet Andrea Zanzotto affectionately dedicated to this place. Also belonging to the complex is the small Baroque church with a small bell gable dedicated to Our Lady of Mount Carmel, originally the family's chapel and located a few steps further along the main road, which houses a painting of the Virgin by the painter Giovanni Zanzotto (1888-1960), father of the famous poet.
