Escursione Serravalle-Monte Baldo
Viale della Vittoria, 110 , Vittorio Veneto - 31029
From Piazza Flaminio, near the Museum of Cenedese, you take via Piai, a small cobblestone street. At the end of the street is the starting point of the path that runs alongside what remains of the ancient defensive system of Serravalle. After about 400 meters, climbing in elevation, you will find the ruins of the ancient church dedicated to St. Anthony, where there is a picnic area. Continuing to ascend, you will enter the woods, where the remains of an old well belonging to the Rocca del Montesel can be found. You continue to increase in elevation and, after about 1 km of walking along the crest of Monte Baldo, you reach the summit of Monte Baldo at an elevation of 594. At this point, you can continue to Borgo Castagnè and take the path 1042 or follow the path 1042A which leads to Borgo Vignola in the San Lorenzo area, from where you can reach Serravalle again.
