Museo della Chiave Bianchi

The Museo della Chiave Bianchi 1770 (Museum of the Key) is the corporate museum of Keyline S.p.A, an innovative company in the design and production of mechanical and electronic keys and key cutting machines and leader in the technology of car keys with transponders. With the acquisition of Keyline S.p.A, the Bianchi family has decided to continue its centuries-old tradition of "key business" started in 1770 by the master of keys Matteo Bianchi and handed down from father to son until today. The Museum, housed within the production plant, exhibits one of the most complete private collections of keys in the world: a veritable treasure chest of precious objects, which preserves almost two thousand artifacts including keys, padlocks, locks and key cutting machines from all over the world and dating back to different historical periods, starting from the 1st century AD up to the present day.
