Chiesa di San Giovanni Battista
Largo G. B. Cima, 5 , San Fior - 31020
The Church of San Giovanni Battista in San Fior probably dates back to the era of the Goths (5th-6th century). Between 1906 and 1930 the new neo-Gothic church was erected. Inside, behind the altar, you can admire the Polyptych of San Giovanni Battista by Cima da Conegliano, which is made up of eight parts inside a wooden chest of drawers. Other works kept in the church are also noteworthy, such as the baptistery, the wooden crucifix by Brustolon and numerous frescoes and works dating back to the 15th century.
