The Parish Church of San Giovanni Battista was consecrated in 1545 by Egidio Falcetta from Cingoli, bishop of Caorle. Inside the Church, valuable works of art are preserved: the Last Supper, considered a youthful work of Tintoretto; the Madonna with Child flanked by St. James and St. Nicholas, a work attributed to the painter from San Vito, Giuseppe Moretto; the Madonna with sleeping Child, which was part of a larger painting depicting the Flight into Egypt; the Immaculate Conception, an altarpiece from a destroyed altar during the French occupation in the early 1800s. Moreover, the bell tower is much older than the current Church: it was built along with the first church consecrated in 1363, then demolished because the urban layout of the historic center of Meduna was radically modified to build the noble Michiel palace, which is now the town hall. The bell tower, due to frequent floods, has sunk into the ground by more than a meter.
