Palazzo Colussi
Via XX Settembe, 108-110 , Conegliano - 31015
Palazzo Colussi (Domus Magna), the ancient seat of the Knights of the Podestà, is a Renaissance building with a completely frescoed external facade. Much of the pictorial surface has been lost, but has regained color and splendor following the restoration in the 2000s. On the ground floor the portico is opened by three arches supported by two columns with a Gothic capital; in the portico, to the left, there is the best preserved fresco: the Trinity, Madonna and Child. On the two upper floors, you can see a pair of single-light windows on each side (rectangular on the first floor, round-arched on the second) and a three-light window in the center (the one on the first floor with the central opening closed by a parapet), which follow the same scheme, according to a perfect symmetry.
