Dedicated to the beekeeper Guido Fregonese, the museum, located in Magera, was born with the donation of bee material by the Ape Club opitergium to the Municipality of Oderzo. It was opened in June 1996. The structure accompanies the visitor, with the help of illustrations and prints, in the knowledge of hives (ashlars) and tools created to protect and improve the living conditions of bees (sorter, queen, sole, smoker, food supplier, apiscampo, etc.). The aim of the museum is to promote and disseminate the bee culture, for the nutritional value of its products and for its importance in the pollination of flowers.
This museum has no specific opening times, but it organises guided tours upon request for schools and small groups by contacting Mr. Antonio Perissinotto. The museum hosts and organises for years an annual conference of Beekeeping the third week of October.
