The guided walk will take you to the park of Villa Rechsteiner: a Nordic-style garden of over three hectares crossed by paths and characterized by ancient trees, a romantic pond with water lilies, and the remains of the Tea Temple. Look up to admire Villa Rechsteiner and its frescoes unveiled by the recent restoration of the facade.
The route continues in the wine cellar and the aging room, housed in a seventeenth-century farmhouse. Among oak barrels and contemporary artworks, the guide will reveal the secrets of wine making and aging. Among the barrels, some contemporary artworks also find their space, expressing the bond that the von Stepski-Doliwa family recognizes between wine and culture. To crown the experience, a guided tasting of a selection of Rechsteiner wines, accompanied by home-cured meats, local cheeses, and baked goods.
