There are wines that tell the story of a territory starting from its grape. This tasting is dedicated to them: indigenous grape varieties that allow one to get close to the agricultural history and identity of the Piave area through what ends up in the glass.
Before the tasting, the visit takes you through the spaces of Villa Giustinian – Molon Traverso, the cellars where in the past the wine of Piave was refined, the vineyard cultivated in Bellussera, and the small Museum of Peasant Civilization. Different places, but connected by the same thread: the relationship between the countryside, those who have worked it, and the wine produced in these lands.
The guided tasting of four wines from indigenous grapes completes the journey. The guide helps to recognize their characteristics and differences, relating them to the territory just traversed.
Thus, one returns to the glass with a different perspective: not just a wine to taste, but a variety, a landscape, and a local history to acknowledge. It is a proposal for those who love to discover a place also through its productions most tied to the land.
