Nestled within the beautiful Veneto countryside, Casa Sesta Presa is a family owned farmhouse, very near the sandy beaches of the popular seaside resort Caorle.
The land has been in the Chiggiato family since 1910 who farm it mainly for corn, soya, chard and wheat.
The original farmhouse on the banks of the river Livenza has been lovingly restored and offers five fully fitted comfortable apartments.
A perfect retreat for families with children as well as four legged friends who will adore the Bau-Bau Beach for a good run.
The large fenced in and very safe 5000sqm garden is fully equipped for al fresco dining and BBQs.
We have bicycles for our guests to explore the surrounding countryside and lagoon with many cycling paths running directly from the house.
Historic Venice is less than an hour by car or train. Other cultural highlights such as Trieste or Portogruaro are in close proximity as well. At Casa Sesta Presa we love the environment and use alternative energy wherever possible.
Prices include Air-condition in every room, the use of Wi-fi within the whole house, electricity, water, gas, weekly change of sheets and towels, use of communal washing machine, free use of bicycles, parking as well as baby cots and high chairs if requested. Payment A 50% deposit is paid by transfer at the time of booking, the remaining 50% are paid on arrival. The booking is only confirmed on receipt of the deposit. Cancellation Policy A 10% fee of the total amount will be taken if cancellation is requested 4months prior to the booked dates (120 days) and 50% of the total amount will be taken if cancellation is requested up until one month (30 days) prior to the booked dates. Bicycles Guests are liable for any possible damage or theft of the bicycles at 90.00 Euros per bike. Arrival & Departure Arrival is between 4.00pm and 7.00pm. Guests are requested to leave the apartment by 9.30am. Small to medium sized pets are allowed. For larger pets enquire prior to the booking.
From Trieste-Venezia Motorway: Take the exit Portogruaro or San Stino di Livenza and follow the signs towards Caorle. 2.5km after the village of Ottava Presa you will see a bridge over the Livenza river. Drive over it and go on for another 1.7 km. Then take a right hand turn into the small road (the first after the roundabout) which is marked by red and white posts. The Casa Sesta Presa farmhouse is situated at the end of that road. It is easily recognised it by its large white window shutters.
From Caorle: Take the exit towards Trieste-Portogruaro, drive over the large bridge that leads over the canal, then drive further on, cross the roundabout and drive for another 750m. Take a left hand turn into the small road (the first after the roundabout) which is marked by red and white posts. The Casa Sesta Presa farmhouse is situated at the end of that road. It is easily recognized it by its large white window shutters.
