The National Archaeological Maritime Museum

It is an exhibition with numerous finds from the prehistoric to the contemporary era. They tell the story of Caorle, the sea and trade routes from ancient times to modern times. It houses the wreck of an Italo-French warship that sank in 1812. There are also finds from the prehistoric village of San Gaetano as well as from the “Portus Reatinum” mentioned by Pliny the Elder and from the ancient city of Caprulae.
