Inaugurated on June 24, 2021, the Attilia Zava Collection – Museum of Glass Art increases the artistic heritage found at Palazzo Foscolo.
In 2011, Attilia Zava donated her collection, consisting of thirty glass sculptures and a group of the same number of drawings, prints, and paintings, to the city of Oderzo, where she was born. All works emerged from the mediation of Egidio Costantini, a person driven by a great desire for innovation, among artists and glass masters.
It was he who directed Mrs. Zava towards the collection of the first glass works, which she then continued to expand into other expressive fields.
Her Workshop of Angels represented a Venetian meeting point for Picasso, Arp, Ernst, and many other artists active in the cultural fervor of the city.
