Hello, I’m your mountain guide and I want to invite you on an adventure that will take you to discover the wonders of the Dolomites in a way that few are lucky enough to experience. We’ll start from Passo Fedaia, and together we will tackle trail 606, a path that will lead us to Pian dei Fiacconi, passing through spectacular scenery and unspoiled lands. The ascent will begin with a stretch across the glacier, but that’s only the beginning of a real challenge: high up, where the glacier gives way to rock, we’ll face a short via ferrata (grade 2), which will put us to the test, before continuing along the final snow ridge, where the view will take your breath away. The 1300-meter elevation gain will allow you to test your strength and abilities, but I assure you that the effort will be more than rewarded by the stunning views that will accompany us throughout the hike. The descent will be equally fascinating: we’ll descend along the normal route, crossing the glacier again, to return to Rifugio Pian dei Fiacconi and then to Passo Fedaia.
