At Tenuta Giol, history is not kept confined within the rooms of the Castle. It continues in the Park and reaches the buildings where for centuries work has been done, preserved, and produced.
The Historic Tour begins at the Papadopoli Giol Castle, with its furnished rooms and English neogothic architecture. From here, the path opens onto the Historic Park of twelve hectares, among centuries-old trees and the small lake that accompanies the landscape of the Villa.
The narrative continues in the Farm, entering the aging cellar, the granary, the ancient dairies, and the aging crypts. The historic core of these spaces dates back to 1427: environments created for work that still today allow one to understand the productive dimension of the Venetian Villa alongside its residential aspect.
It is precisely this transition, from the rooms of the Castle to the spaces of agricultural activity, that gives meaning to the visit.
